Hey everyone, welcome!!
First an introduction: I am not specially fond of talking about myself – to strangers – so I’ll be brief: I’m a psychology student born and raised in the beautiful city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Having only 2 years till getting my degree, I have developed an interest in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy, specially the works of Sigmund Freud and Jacques Lacan. I have had various jobs, but I am currently working as a personal tutor at an English institute. That’s just for you to understand who is talking and what glasses she is wearing.
So why exactly am I writing in English, if I am argentine? good question. “Castellano” is my mother tongue, but I am fluent in English… hey, I sometimes even think in english. Having said that, this blog will probably be bilingual, depending on the topic at hand and whether I’m in a mood for Spanish (or Castellano) or English.
I have been meaning to start a blog for a long time, to have a small island of my own in the huge sea that is the www (even if only a few people stop by for a visit). I have a ton of ideas and things to say – and so much to do, and so little time -, so I finally got myself together and decided to start. Well see how this turns out.
“What are your expectations?” that is the question everyone asks when one starts something new… But I’d rather not say, and be surprised by the results. Better yet: I always expect to be surprised. In this case, by myself: I’ll ride the waves as they come, and we’ll see how it turns out. There are many alternatives: Maybe I will keep writing for a long, long time, or I might stop after just a few post. I could write every single day, or once in a blue moon.
(Hopefully it will be the first one)
Feel free to commnent, agree, disagree, post constructive criticism, etc. As long as it is nothing offensive towards me or anyone, I’d love your feedback.
See you back here soon!

I thought Castellian was limited to Spain?
Expect me to drop in once in a while…I have a friend Osvaldo in Argentina and I will hopefully come there some day to retire….
